Adela Villa Garcia, 69, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away September 5, 2016, at Abilene Regional Medical Center in Abilene, TX. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 2:00 pm, at St. George Catholic Church, Haskell, TX. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell, TX. A rosary will be at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at the funeral home.
Adela was born August 15,1947 in Anson, TX to Pedro Garcia and Louisa (Galvan) Garcia. She married the late Victor Villa, Sr., December 5,1964 in Haskell, TX. She enjoyed volunteering at the Pink Ladies and going to the Senior Citizen's meals. She mostly loved her grandkids and the Lord. She loved serving others whenever possible and was a member at St. George Catholic Church, Haskell, TX.
Adela is survived by her 3 daughters; Janie Villa Mathias and husband David, of Post Oak, TX, JoAnn Williams and Husband Greg, of Haskell, TX, and Lena Bilger and Husband Kevin, of Abilene, TX; 2 sons, Chris Villa and wife Gloria, of Haskell, TX, and Victor Villa, Jr., of Milton, FL; 2 brothers, Robert Sevallos and Victor Sevallos, both of Abilene, TX; 3 sisters, Janie Hernandez, of Abilene, TX, Maggie Landvatter, of San Antonio, TX, and Yolanda Ortega, of San Antonio, TX; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Louisa (Galvan) Garcia; husband, Victor Villa, Sr., and 4 brothers.
