Albert Carl Bernard Thane

Albert Carl Bernard Thane, 98, of Paint Creek, passed away January 28, 2022. A graveside service will be held at Willow Cemetery at 2:00PM, Monday, January 31, 2022. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

Albert was born on September 24, 1923, to Louis and Anna Fischer Thane. Albert received his early education from Howard School and graduated high school from Paint Creek. After high school, he spent his time farming and raising Angus herds. He lived his entire life on the same farm in Paint Creek.

Albert is survived by his brother-in-law Wayne Wells of Paint Creek; two nieces, Debra Wells of Dallas, and Linda McDaniel of Frisco.

He is preceded by his parents, Anna Fischer and Louis Thane; and sister, Dorthay Wells.
