Amelia Anne Moore was born September 19, 1956 in Haskell, Texas to James and Arvella Moore, passed away April 22, 2025.

She married Mario Rodriguez September 14, 1995 in Del Rio Texas.

Preceded in death by her parents, brother Pat Moore, and nephew Jeff Milliman. In-laws Ines and Aurora Rodriguez and sister-in-law Eugenia.

Survived by husband Mario Rodriguez, Amelia's sisters Emily Moore, Marsha Simpson husband Larry,  and Marilyn Moore. Nieces and nephews Gerri, Heather, Jennifer, Cathy, Brad, David and several great nephews and niece. Her sister-in-laws Laura, Aurora, Josephine, Alicia, Estella and their spouses with many nieces and nephews.

Sisters of the HEART Fran McCown, Menda Street, Yolanda Garcia and their spouses.

Amelia loved flowers and plants. She also loved her fur babies-Cooper, Ben, Heifer, Stormy and Amos Moses and all the fur babies that came before.  She kept in close contact with all of her friends from the border from Brownsville to Del Rio where she lived for many years.

Family will have a small memorial in the First Baptist Church fellowship hall Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm following a private gathering at Amelia, Mario, and Emily's home.

In lieu of food or flowers a memorial to First Baptist Church-Rule, Texas or Rescue the Animals. Please consider adopting or sponsoring an animal who needs a home.
