Andrew "Sonny" Jackson Correll, Jr.

Andrew "Sonny" Jackson Correll, Jr. 75, passed from this world to his heavenly home on February 21, 2023. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, 10:00AM, at the First Baptist Church, O'Brien, Tx., with Pastor Mark A. Farr and Rev. Paul Chambers officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes of Haskell, Tx.

Andrew was born on July 30, 1947 in Clovis, NM. to Virginia Monroe Correll and Andrew "Jack" Correll, Sr.  Andrew retired after 19 years with the Knox County Courthouse in Benjamin, Tx. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, lure-making among others. He loved his family and friends dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of O'Brien Baptized Church, O'Brien , Tx. He leaves behind his loving wife Brenda Conn Correll who cared for him through several illness.

Andrew is survived by his two sons and their wives, Andrew "Andy" and Patricia Correll, lll of Andrews, Tx and Brian and Carla Correll of Ft. Worth, Tx., his daughter Crystal Correll of Wichita Falls, Tx.; eight grandchildren, Courtney and Price Miller of Amarillo, Tx., Kyle Correll of Amarillo, Tx., Cassidy and Justin Murdock of Wichita Falls, Tx., Jackson Meador and Alex of Knox City, Tx., Alicia Correll of College Station, Tx., Elizabeth Correll of Ft. Worth, Tx., James Holbrook of Ft. Worth, Tx., Aug Holbrook of Ft Worth, Tx.; and two great grandsons, Cullen Miller and Kasen Miller of Amarillo, Tx.; and one sister Barbara and Dennis Edwards of Hereford, Texas as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Virginia and Jack Correll.
