Angelica Hernandez Torres, 35, of Rochester, TX, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 600 S. 7th St., Haskell, with Reverend Rocky Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at the Rochester City Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00PM, Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd Street, Haskell.

Angelica was born on June 20, 1987, to Ana (Hernandez) and Maximo Torres in Rio Verde, Mexico. She moved to Rochester, TX in 2001, and later married Juan Hernandez and together they had 4 children. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved to spend time with her extended family and she enjoyed traveling. Her and her husband owned Tacos El Rey Food Truck and her passion in life was cooking for others. She brought joy to many with her caring heart and food.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Hernandez; children, Juan, Jason, Analuisa Coral, and Esmeralda Raquel; her parents, Maximo and Ana Torres; siblings, Maximino Torres and wife Dora, Raul Torres and wife Maria Del Carmen Cervantes, Ana Leticia Torres and husband Gerardo Nolasquez, Gerardo Torres and wife Jaime; Maria Torres and husband Abel Rosas, Ruben Torres, and David Torres; nephews and nieces, Fernando Torres, Keylee Torres, Arely Torres, Carlos Torres, Olivia Torres, Angel Torres, Alondra Torres, Alonso Nolasquez, Allyson Nolasquez, Adrian Rosas, Anabel Rosas, Max Torres, Macy Torres, and Tedy Torres; aunts and uncles, Patricio Hernandez, Alejandra Torres, Leonor Torres, and Flavio Hernandez; and numerous other family members.
