Angie Staggs

Angie Staggs, 47, of Lorenzo, TX, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the First Baptist Church, Knox City with with Rev. Ronny Lamberth officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Paducah, TX, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City, TX. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 at the funeral home, 210 Ave A., Knox City, TX.

Angie was born September 30, 1972 in Paducah to Beth (Mayberry) and Larry Staggs. She grew up in Knox City and graduated from Knox City High School in 1991. She was a twirler for the Greyhound Band. Angie was a member of the National Honor Society, and graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She was a 10 year member of the National Piano Guild. Angie worked as a Pharmacy Technician for United Super Market Pharmacy for 26 years.

She is survived by her parents, Beth and Larry Staggs of Knox City; brother, Nathan Staggs and wife Cassie of La Grange; three nieces, Brittani Richards of Wichita Falls, Christina Staggs of Los Angeles, CA, and Jade Wessels of College Station; two nephews, Cameron Staggs, and Jagger Wessels both of La Grange; her faithful companion, Mozzy; and her 18 classmates that she considered brothers and sisters.
