Antonio Aguilera

Antonio (Tony) Aguilera, 89, long time resident of Rochester, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 28, 2025,  at the Rochester Cemetery with Rev. Dave Harrison officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rochester. A visitation is planned from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the funeral home, 200 S. Lincoln Ave. Rochester, Texas.

Tony was born June 10th, 1936, in Bee Co., Texas, to Endileseo Aguilera and Maria Cavazos. He was a custom harvester who also enjoyed driving his purple 18-wheeler and fishing.

He is survived by his daughter Helen Tally and husband of Georgetown; grandson Henry Castillo, his wife, and their son of San Antonio; his sisters Rosa Garcia, Romona Flores and husband Milton, all of Rochester; Nephews Milton Flores and wife Estella of New Braunsfels, Jerry Don Garcia of Rochester, and Tony Flores and wife Pamela of San Antonio. Nieces Mickie Aguilera and Ricky Holmes of Rochester, Norma Garcia of Rochester, Delia McPhail and husband David of Abilene, Mary Helen Rangel and husband Larry of San Antonio, Naomi Morgan and husband Todd of San Antonio; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Endileseo & Maria Aguilera, son Joel Aguilera, brother Delfino Aguilera, niece Sandy Aguilera, and nephew Erick Aguilera.
