Antonio Casteneda Hernandez, 64, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Weatherford Regional Medical Center in Weatherford, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. George Catholic Church in Haskell, Texas with Father George Romey officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home.
Antonio was born in Lubbock, Texas on August 2, 1949 to Maria Casteneda. He lived most of his life in Haskell and was a farmer. Antonio was a member of St. George Catholic Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Casteneda; and his sister, Josephina Hernandez.
Antonio is survived by his 3 sons, Michael Hernandez of Abilene, William Cody Hernandez of Weatherford, and Antonio Hernandez of Mineral Wells; 1 daughter, Debbie Lee Hernandez of Mineral Wells; brother, Ernest Hernandez of Haskell; a sister, Janie Hernandez also of Haskell; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
