Bessie Nelle Prindle

Bessie Nelle Prindle, longtime resident of Rule, Texas, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Prindle was 72. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Rule with Rev. Scott Hensley officiating. Arrangements were made under the care of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Bessie Nelle O'Berry was born March 23, 1942, in Alva, Florida to Bessie Blanche (Harrington) and James Woodrow O'Berry. Nelle loved to sew, quilt, and crochet as well as riding horses and helping at the church. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rule.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and James O'Berry; a son, Tony Williams; and 6 aunts, Ardith Reynolds, Velma Farr, Opal Lowen, Anna Marshall, Ivelee Harris, and Rosa Long.

Nelle is survived by her 4 sons, Mark Williams, Mitchell Williams, John Hollis, and Ricky Clay Truelesen; 2 daughters, Faye Williams, and Kelly Ann Lewis; brother Tom O'Berry; sister, Gayle O'Berry; and 19 grandchildren.
