Betty Neal

Betty Neal, 79, of Abilene, Texas passed away, Tuesday, June 29, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Willow Cemetery, Haskell. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Betty was born June 2, 1942 in Monticello, Kentucky to Ather (Crabtree) and John Gregory. Betty enjoyed drawing, painting, and her beloved dog, buddy. Betty especially loved spending time with her family and grandkids.

She is survived by her children, George Lamar "Buddy" Waters and wife Susan of Trintan, GA, Juanita Southerland and husband David of Chatsworth, GA, Vickie White and husband Fabian Mendez of Baird, TX, Jamie Neal and wife Amy Montgomery of Abilene, TX; daughter-in-law, Amanda Neal; grandkids, Christian Southerland, David Southerland, Brian Southerland, Valerie Barrera, Timmathy Dimmerman, Charity Neal, Cameron Neal, Destiny Neal, Dalton Neal, Sean Lair, Brooke Montgomery, Devon Tambor; and dog, Buddy.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Marion Gregory; mother, Ather Irene (Crabtree) Gregory; son, Jonny West; sister, Janice Gregory; brothers, James Arnold Gregory, Roygene Gregory; and grandson, Johnathan Daulton.
