Bobbie Lee Johnson

July 4, 1943 — February 19, 2014

Bobbie Lee Johnson longtime resident of Haskell, Texas, passed away at her home early Wednesday morning, February 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at Church of Christ with Tim Johnson, Phillip Sims, William Eudy, and Sam Wester officiating. Interment will take place immediately following at Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Visitation is planned for Thursday evening, February 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home located at 304 N. 2nd Street.

Bobbie Lee McHam was born July 4, 1943 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Mabel Christell (Garlington) and Noel Leon McHam. She married Loraine Johnson on November 8, 1958 in Knox City. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taught cradle roll at church for many years. Bobbie was a member of Church of Christ and a photographer.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Amie Johnson; parents, Noel Leon and Mabel McHam; and granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson.

Bobbie will be missed by so many but most importantly, her husband of 55 years, Loraine; daughter, Lorie Johnson and husband Dwayne; son, Tim Johnson and wife Trish; grandchildren, Brad Johnson, Dustin Johnson and wife Olivia, Tyler Johnson, and Tayleigh Johnson; two sisters, Betty Gale Hamilton and Christell Magness; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers for Mrs. Johnson are J.R. Patterson, Noel Carter, Scott Schaake, Steve Money, Robbie Peiser, and Sam Bitner.
