Bobby Boyd

Bobby Boyd, 90, of Throckmorton, Texas, passed away, Sunday, December 20, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Throckmorton Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.

Bobby was born October 18, 1930, in Throckmorton, Texas to Louise (Grable) and Thomas E. Boyd. He married Sally (Bishop) on February, 25, 1951 in Brady, TX, and they enjoyed 70 years of marriage. Bobby was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Boyd; children, Tommy Boyd and wife Sheree, David Boyd, Leann Crim and husband Sterling; 8 grandchildren, Josh Boyd, Zachary Boyd, Hudson Boyd, Sydney Boyd, Pammy Boyd, Annie Ortega, Bobby Crim, Chris Crim; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Ladelle Boyd.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tommy Boyd.
