Bobby Joe Dean

Bobby Joe Dean, 60, of Haskell, Texas, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2:00PM, at the First United Methodist Church,Haskell, Texas with Chaplain Ken Lyle officiating. Burial will follow the service at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, Texas, under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.

Bobby was born January 1,1962, in Midland, Texas, to Vickie (Turnbow) and Jesse Dean. He graduated Haskell High School in 1980. He loved football especially the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed watching and keeping up with all sports. He loved old cars and riding in his Chevy truck.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Jo Evans of Georgia; two sisters, JoAnn Hannsz and husband Greg of Abilene, Carol McNair and husband Mark of Vernon; five grandchildren, Kalei Hamilton, Kloei Lee of Springfield, Illinois, Ariah Lee, Michael Lee, Karli Lee of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents,Vickie and Jesse Dean; and niece,Tiffany Hannsz.
