Bobby "BoBo" Samuel Herrera, 36, was called home on May 26, 2022, to be with the heavenly father. Bobby was born on October 5, 1985, in Haskell, Texas to Adela Valencia Herrera and Ruperto Herrera, Jr. Bobby was a very loving kind man who would give anyone the shirt off his back. Bobby was a very outgoing guy. There was never a dull moment with Uncle Bobby around. He loved spending time with family and friends. One thing for sure he loved his Momma and his wife Dolores and his baby Myrakle.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Dolores Rodriguez, daughter Myrakle Herrera, & Baby Herrera of Abilene, Mother Adela Valencia Herrera of Knox City, Tx, father Ruperto Herrera of Abilene, Tx, mother & father in-laws Margarita and Frank, Jr Rodriguez of Abilene, Tx; another amazing man who came into his life Jesus Zavala; and grandmother Mary Valencia of Munday, Tx, Older Brother Roy Herrera and wife Felicia of Abilene, Tx, older sister Celia and Jermaine Williams of Ft. Worth, Tx, his baby sister, April Herrera of Knox City, Sister in-laws Stephanie Rodriguez, Tiffany Rodriguez, brother in-law Frank and spouse Jackie Rodriguez, of Abilene, Tx; he also had three other siblings, Devon, and Jamie of Knox City and Warren Flye of Plainview, Tx. Bobby had seven nieces, Khloe, Isabella, Amelia, Kyrizza, Aariyah, Zoey, and Anbriel; seven nephews, Kaleb, Jakob, Khalil, Xavier, Andrew, Frank, and Noel; Thank you to True Lime Stone (Roger & Tike).
He is preceded in death by his, grandfather Guadalupe Valencia, Ruperto and Guadalupe Herrera, niece, Zenyada Rae Herrera, cousins, Richard Espinosa, and Adrian Andrade.
Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Knox City, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, with Gene Ward officiating. Burial will follow at the O'Brien Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned for Monday, May 30, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Knox City Funeral Home, 210 Ave. A.
