Carol Duncan of Knox City, Texas passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Duncan was 76. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 3, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Knox City. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Faye Carol Jones was born December 21, 1937, in Knox City, Texas to Jaurine and Robert T. Jones. After graduation and then onto nursing school, Carol made her career as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Knox City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jaurine and Robert Jones.
Carol is survived by her 4 sons, Jimmy Griffin, Joe Griffin, John Griffin, and Jerry Griffen; 10 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Jimmy Joe Jones.
