Cecil Lewis

Mr. Cecil Lewis of Fredericksburg passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in the Knopp Healthcare and Rehab at the age of 88 years. A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Rule Cemetery with Mr. John Pike officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rule.

James Cecil Lewis was born on February 12th, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas to Olney Garland and Hazel Morris Lewis.

He married Dale Bearden on March 6, 1954 till her passing on September 24th, 1988.

Cecil then married Jo Ella Rode Sifford on July 5th, 1991 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

One daughter, two sons and spouses: Susan Lewis of San Antonio
Mark and Leann Lewis of Plains, Texas
Russ and Kelly Lewis of Italy, Texas
Two step sons and spouses: Scott and Evelyn Sifford of Bellville
Troy and Julie Sifford of Fredericksburg
Five Grandchildren: Megann and Andrew Harlow, Forrest Booth, Jaclynn Lewis, Trevor Lewis, Braeden Lewis, Five Step Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Brian, Dylan, Logan and Gabriella Sifford and two great grandchildren: Jace Lewis and Renndon Harlow
Sister and spouse: Linda and Kent Dunnam of Idaho.

Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
