Charlie Brown, 65, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Throckmorton. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Elbert Cemetery, Elbert, TX, with Rev. Peter Parker officiating. A visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.
Charlie was born October 6, 1951 in Denison, TX to Ella Jean Jacobs and William Harold Yeoman. He was a long time resident of San Antonio until later moving to Throckmorton. He enjoyed dancing, playing shuffleboard, poker, and was a Golden Gloves Boxer.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Brown; three sons, Kevin Brown of California, Jimmy Watson and wife Crystal of Throckmorton, Jason Watson and wife Kierstin of Eastland; his daughter Tracie Watson of Throckmorton; his sister Darla Jones and husband Ricky of Ingram; his brother Richard Yeoman and wife Linda Elkins of Granbury; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ella Jean (Jacobs) Yeoman; father Bill Yeoman; three brothers, Donald Brown, Kenneth Catrall, and Michael Whitley; and two great grandchildren.
