Chase Navarro

Charles "Chase" Jesus Navarro, 14, a lifelong resident of Throckmorton, TX, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Throckmorton  High School Auditorium with Rev. Peter Parker, Rev. Drew Moses, and Rev. Charles Fischer officiating. Burial will follow services at the Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 27, 2017, at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton, TX.

Chase was born November 26, 2002 in Graham, to Shawna Rene (Jones) Navarro and Injel "Shorty" Isabel Navarro. Chase was an eighth grader at Throckmorton Junior High School. Chase enjoyed roping, playing the saxophone, hunting and fishing. The thing he loved the most was being around people and making them laugh.

He is survived by two sisters, Mikaela Stroud, and Hannah Navarro; and Grandparents, Kirby and Melanie Gober, Maria Navarro, and Roger Jones.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shawna Navarro; father, Shorty Navarro; and grandfather, Jesse Navarro.
