Claudette Wolsch

Claudette Wolsch, 83, a longtime resident of Rochester, TX, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Rochester Cemetery. Randy Hollingsworth will be officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rochester. A visitation is planned from 6:00PM to 7:00PM, Friday, June 16, 2023, at the funeral home in Rochester, 200 S. Lincoln Ave, Rochester, TX.

Julia Claudette Goode was born June 8, 1940, in Knox City, TX, to Bobbie (Tanner) and Floyd Goode. She married Ken Wolsch in Haskell, TX, on June 28, 1957. She enjoyed sewing, loved cooking for family and watching game shows. She was all about her grandbabies. She cared for many dogs over the years with great compassion. She looked forward to holidays and being with her family. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Rochester.

Claudette is survived by her daughters, Belinda Wooldridge and husband George of Abilene, TX, Michele Adkins from Cibolo, TX; sons, David Wolsch and wife Judy of Lake Stamford, TX, Brandon Wolsch and wife Crystal Soto of Lake Stamford, TX; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Tommy Goode and wife Anita of Throckmorton; sister Winnie Pittman of Rochester; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and Floyd Goode; husband, Ken Wolsch; brother, Elmer Goode; and brother-in-law, Bill Pittman.
