Clell Hargrove

Clell Hargrove, 26, a lifelong resident of Throckmorton, TX passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Throckmorton with Rev. Peter Parker officiating. Burial will follow services at the Elbert Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Friday, December 22, 2017 at the funeral home, 107 N Austin, Throckmorton, TX.

Clell was born October 2, 1991 in Breckenridge, to Sonya (Manuel), and Gary Hargrove. He was a 2010 graduate of Throckmorton High School. He loved old western movies, and was an avid gamer. Texting family was his favorite pastime.

He is survived by his mother, Sonya Hargrove of Throckmorton; brother, Cam Hargrove of Throckmorton; grandmother, Mary Sue Hargrove of Throckmorton; grandparents La Myrlas and Lyndel Manuel of Elbert; two uncles; three aunts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Hargrove; and grandfather, Gaylon Hargrove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given in Clell's name to the Elbert Cemetery Association.
