Craig Mccormick

Craig McCormick, 51, of Haskell, TX passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 19, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Haskell. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Smith Family Funeral Home in Haskell, TX.

Craig was born on March 14, 1965, in Plainview, Texas, to Larry and La Juan (Henderson) McCormick. On August 1, 1987, he married Janet Timmons in White Deer, TX. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Economics from Texas Tech University, and was the owner of Kisco Leasing Company. Craig was a resident of Haskell, TX for the last 26 years, was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Abilene, TX, and he dearly loved spending time with his family.

Craig is survived by his wife, Janet McCormick of Haskell; four daughters, Lauren, Emmalee, Abbigail, and Lilee-Grace McCormick; three sons, Tucker, Seth, and Titus Israel McCormick, all of Haskell; his parents, Larry and La Juan McCormick of Paris, TX; one brother, Ronnie McCormick of Dallas, TX; one sister, Bekki McCormick of Melissa, TX; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Betty Timmons of White Deer, TX; sister-in-law, Shela Terry and husband Tam of White Deer, TX; two brothers-in-law, Terry Timmons and wife Susan of Pampa, TX, and Troy Timmons and wife Tammy of Amarillo, TX. Craig is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family.
