Dalton Lee Hearn

Dalton Lee Hearn, resident of Rochester, Texas passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2012 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene. Mr. Hearn was 86. Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Rochester Cemetery in Rochester with Rev. Bud Adkins officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes of Rochester.

Dalton Hearn was born July 27, 1926 in Rochester to Andrew Jackson and Minnie (Strickland) Hearn. Apart from living in Tulsa for 40 years, Mr. Hearn always called Rochester home. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1945. Mr. Hearn was a retired truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Minnie Hearn; his first wife, Sarah Elizabeth McCarty; 1 daughter, Jackie Sue Hearn Neeley; 2 brothers; and 1 sister.

Dalton is survived by his wife, Loveta Hearn of Hawley; daughter, Linda Quinn and husband Patrick of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; son, David Hearn of Catoosa, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Herman Hearn of Rochester.
