Dan Talbott, 87, of Knox City, Texas, passed away early morning, July 24, 2013 at the Munday Nursing Center in Munday. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25 at the O'Brien Cemetery in O'Brien.
Dan was born June 6, 1926 in Freestone County, Texas to Maggie (Robertson) and Dan Talbott, Sr. He married Marilyn Green in 1951 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Talbott was a retired farmer and a member of the O'Brien Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Dan is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Knox City; daughter Kathy Hughes and husband Gary of Shallowater, Texas; grandson, Derrick Hughes also of Shallowater; and 1 great-granddaughter, Hallie Hughes.
If desired, memorials can be given in Dan's name to the First Baptist Church of O'Brien.
