Danny "Dan Tan" Rodriguez

Danny "Dan Tan" Rodriguez, 61, a lifelong resident of Haskell, Texas passed away, Tuesday, May 4, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM, Friday, May 7, 2021, at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A rosary is planned for 7:00PM, Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell.

Danny was born June 8, 1959 in Haskell, Texas to Felicita (Enriquez) and Maximino Rodriguez. He liked to BBQ, sing and dance. Danny especially loved his grandkids and spending time with his family. He was so loved and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Rodriguez, Jr. of Abilene; daughter, Selina Rodriguez and husband Johnny of San Antonio; ex-wife, Rosa Rodriguez of Abilene; 5 brothers, Greg Rodriquez and wife Minnie of Mineral Wells, Sam Rodriquez of Haskell, Andy Rodriquez and wife Frances of Haskell, Marcello Rodriquez and late wife Delores of Abilene, Jesse Rodriquez and wife Elena of Haskell; 3 sisters, Mary Jane Chavira and husband Alvino of Mineral Wells, Mary Helen Jimenez and husband Frank of Waxahachie, Mary Felis Barrios and late husband Arturo of Haskell; grandkids, Eli Ryan Rodriguez, Bryson Cole Rodriquez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved fur baby, Beasley.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maximino and Felicita Rodriquez; 4 brothers, Mac Rodriguez, Jr., Tony Rodriquez, José Rodriquez, and Trinidad Rodriquez.
