David Lee Navarro, 48, a lifelong resident of Throckmorton, TX passed away Friday, February 24, 2017, in Wichita Falls. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, Throckmorton, with Rev. Jay Gage officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A rosary is scheduled at 6:00 p.m, Monday, February 27, 2017 at the funeral home with visitation to follow.
David was born September 14, 1968 in Throckmorton to Guadalupe "Lupe" (Gonzalez) and Eulalio "Lee" Navarro. He graduated from Throckmorton High School and later was a truck driver for BJB. He loved playing the drums, and was an excellent football player. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Lupe and Lee Navarro of New Castle; his girlfriend, Krissy Loggains of Caddo; one daughter, Sheena Worley and husband Chris of Wichita Falls; four sons, Lawson Kaufman and wife April of Wichita Falls, Price Navarro and wife Samantha of Seymour, Mason Navarro and wife Lilliana of Throckmorton, and Trevor Morath of Windthorst; two sisters, Rebecca Navarro and husband Hector Corral of Graham, and Pia Seelye and husband Tom of New Castle; eleven grandchildren; two nephews; one niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Isabel and Bernadina Navarro and Lola and Jose Gonzalez.
