Deborah (Burrows) Stevens

Deborah Jeanine Stevens passed away August 9, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas.  Debbie was born in Fort Worth on November 20, 1950. She graduated from Azle High School in 1969, and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Debbie was a talented photographer, working at the VA Hospital in Dallas and at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth for many years, in their photography departments.

In 1982 she began working at the Fort Worth Bankruptcy Court and worked there for 24 years, until her retirement in 2006. Debbie was a talented pianist, having won many awards throughout her life, enjoyed teaching exercise classes and loved traveling, especially her trips to Key West, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her father, Truman Fant Burrows of Throckmorton Norton, Texas.

Debbie is survived by her mother, Karen Burrows of Fort Worth, Texas; her sister Jan Luciano and her husband Nick Luciano of Asheville, North Carolina; nieces Katie Luciano of Charleston, South Carolina and Lauren Luciano of Chicago, Illinois, and one nephew, Michael Luciano of Asheville, North Carolina.

Graveside services were held in Throckmorton, Texas at the Throckmorton Cemetery on August 14, 2018. Arrangements were under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.
