Don Hisey, 61, of Rule, TX passed away Monday, September 26, 2016. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Rule, with Rev. Scott Hensley officiating. Burial will take place at Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Don was born on October 5, 1954 in Stamford, TX to John H. "Buzz" Hisey and Lula Marie "Lou" Kuenstler) Hisey. He lived in Rule most of his life and was a Farmer. Don loved the outdoors and taking care of his yard.
He is survived by one daughter, Jenny Easterling and husband Doug of Rule; two sons, Luke Hisey of Abilene and Grant Williamson and wife Rebecca of Houston; one sister, Brenda Castleberry of Abilene; one brother, Danny Hisey of Rule; 8 grandchildren (one on the way); and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and a niece Deborah Ivy.
