Dora Moeller-Brueggeman

Dora Mae Moeller Brueggeman, 86, a longtime resident of Weinert, TX, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Weinert with Bro. Dan Bullock and Pastor Robert Harrison officiating. Burial will follow services at the Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A Visitation is planned from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.
Dora was born May 16, 1930 in Throckmorton Co. to Mary Louise Kretschmer Moeller and Frank Ernest Moeller. She married George Brueggeman on January 24, 1948 in Haskell, TX. She worked at Rice Springs Care Home for 17 years, and cooked for the Weinert Lion's Club. Dora also enjoyed taking care of family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Johnnie McCrory and husband Pat of Kilgore; two sons, John Brueggeman of Weinert, and Larry Brueggeman of Weinert; sister, Erna Brueggeman of Ft. Worth; five grandsons, Joseph, Joshua, Pat, and Sean McCrory, and Will Brueggeman and wife Shelby; two step-grandsons, Sam Leek, and Justin Leek; four great granddaughters, Raela McCrory, Madeline McCrory, Keylee Brueggeman, and Karver Brueggeman; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Haley, and Zella Moeller; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Frank Moeller; husband, George Brueggeman; son, Melvin Brueggeman; sister, Frances Moeller; three brothers, Willie Moeller, Ernest Moeller, and Edwin "Tuffy" Moeller.
