Dorothy Lucille Mcfadden

Dorothy Lucille McFadden of Graham, Texas and formally of Haskell passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Garden Terrace Healthcare Center in Graham. Mrs. McFadden was 85. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Assembly of God Church in Haskell with Rev. Clifton McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery. A visitation is planned for Thursday evening, October 10 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Haskell.

Dorothy Lucille Todd was born December 4, 1927 in Groesbeck, Texas to Edith Frances (Parsons) and Clarence Dempsey Todd. She lived most of her live in Haskell and married Herman McFadden on August 5, 1944. Dorothy worked for GMI as a video tape assembler, but her passion was her family, sewing and quilting. She was a member of Church of God in Haskell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman McFadden; a son, Jerry McFadden; and her daughter, Linda K. McFadden; daughter-in-law Marsi McFadden; a grandson Shawn; and 2 great grandsons.

Dorothy is survived by her 2 sons, Sammy McFadden and wife Mildred of Iowa Park, Texas, Ronnie McFadden of Graham; daughter, Nancy Posey and husband Gary of Hawkins, Texas; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
