Duke Dwayne Zant, 60, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023. A celebration of life memorial will be at a later date.
Duke was born March 19, 1963 in Brownfield, Texas to Mary (Moses) and George Zant. He had a smile and laugh that was contagious. He loved to fish. He was loved by many and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Tredway Zant; mother, Mary Martin and husband Larry; brother, Stoney Kersh and wife Diana; sister, Machial Covey and husband JB; brother, Johnny McNeil and wife Naomi; brother-in-law, Jack Owen; and many friends, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hardy and Thelma; father, George "Sonny" Zant; sister, Timmie Owen; and nephew, Sean Dalton.
