Dylan Rae Delane Cooper

Dylan Rae DeLane Cooper, 19, of Haskell, Texas passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Haskell with Mr. Mark Wallace officiating.  Burial will take place immediately following the services at Rochester Cemetery in Rochester under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.  Visitation is planned for Tuesday evening, March 18 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home located at 304 N. 2nd Street.

Dylan was born July 20, 1994 in Fort Worth to Shelly (Slaton) and D.L. Cooper.  He enjoyed playing basketball, video games and listening to music.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and was frequently seen working along side his parents at the family business.  Dylan was a 2012 graduate of Haskell High School.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Larissa Rae Cooper; grandparents, Dee and Shirley Cooper; and grandmother, Sandra Lampe-Slaton.

Dylan is survived by his parents, D.L. and Shelly Cooper; sister, Cassidy Elkin and husband Eric; niece, Carissa Elkin all of Haskell; grandfather, Joseph Weldon Slaton of Rule; great-grandmother, Edna Slaton also of Rule;  and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.  He will be missed by so many.

Serving as pallbearers for Dylan are Zachary Burns, Dustin Burns, Andrew Hearn, Rhett Lampe, Damien Winterstein, and Brad Winterstein.

A fund has been established at First Bank Texas, 200 S. Avenue E, Haskell, Texas in Dylan's name.
