Earl Lynn McDonald, Jr., lifelong resident of Haskell, Texas, passed away September 16, 2013 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. McDonald was 63. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Willow Cemetery in Haskell with Rev. Larry White officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
Earl was born June 22, 1950 in Haskell to Annie (Bishop) and Earl Lynn McDonald, Sr. Earl worked many years at the cotton mill in Stamford as the plant manager. He was a member of Church of Christ in Haskell.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Earl is survived by his sister, Denia Cunningham and her husband Donald of Haskell; one brother, Garald McDonald of Houston; 3 nieces, Amy Martin of Haskell, Kristi Damaske of Boston, MA, and Nicole Verbit of Denver, CO; nephew, Mathew Cunningham of Haskell; 1 great-niece; and 4 great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Earl's name to the Haskell Volunteer Fire Department.
