Earlene Martin, 94, a longtime resident of Rule, TX, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Rule Cemetery with Mr. Walter Pope officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Rule. A visitation is planned for 10:00a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the funeral home, 600 Robins Ave., Rule, TX.

Earlene was born May 18, 1924 in Vera, to Flossie (Rogers) and James Frazier. She married Punk Martin on January 3, 1943 in Haskell. Earlene graduated from Old Glory High School. She was a housewife and worked at many other occupations. She loved sewing and making pot holders.

She is survived by her son, Joe Allen Martin and wife Elizabeth of Lawn, TX; one brother, Corky Frazier of San Angelo; one sister, Betty Jo Arrington of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and James Frazier; husband, Punk Martin; two brothers, Dick Frazier, and Roger Frazier; and one sister, Peggy Frazier.
