Erwin Andrew "Andy" Barnard

Erwin Andrew "Andy" Barnard, 57, a lifelong resident of Knox City, TX, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. A memorial graveside service will be held at the Knox City Cemetery, at 1:00p.m., Friday, April 30, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow at the Wooden Nickel, Knox City.

Andy was born May 7, 1963 in Wichita Falls, TX to Rufus "R.P." Barnard and Barbara (Eggenbacher). He loved life, and enjoyed tinkering with things. He did not like to mow the grass. Andy especially loved the Lord and was faithful in prayer.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Drew Barnard and wife Carol Ann of Mt. Pleasant, Samuel Barnard of Knox City, Jacob Barnard of Knox City; granddaughter, Clara Barnard of Mt. Pleasant; companion, Erika Holmes of Knox City; 2 brothers, Richard Barnard of Plano, Payton Tankersley and wife Kristi of Knox City; sister, Cheryl Farr of Onalaska, TX; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Barnard of Knox City; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Barbara Barnard; and brother, Joe Barnard.
