Euanna Hicks

Euanna Hicks, 89, a long time resident of Rule, TX, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the First Baptist Church, Rule with Rev. Ernest Flanders officiating. Burial will follow services at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the funeral home, 304 N 2nd St., Haskell, TX.

Euanna was born July 28, 1928 in Albuquerque, NM, to Mary and George Green. Euanna loved drinking her cold beer and chewing tobacco. She enjoyed fishing and gardening when she was younger.

She is survived by her four daughters, Pearlene Lewis and husband Eisenhower of Kileen, Mae Etta Bennett of Abilene, Mary Louise Reagins and husband Johnny of Levelland, and Maryann Hightower of Kileen; two sons, George Hicks of Beaumont, and David Hicks of Abilene; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Green; her father, George Green; husband, George Hicks; and three sons, Roy Hicks, Arthur Hicks, and Pete Hicks
