Eunice M. (Hutchinson) Cox Larned

Eunice M. (Hutchinson) Cox Larned, 86, a longtime resident of Haskell, TX, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, Haskell with Rev. Rob Harrison officiating. Burial will follow services at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2018, at the funeral Home, 304 N. 2nd St., Haskell, TX.

Eunice was born July 22, 1931, in Haskell Co., TX, to Beatrice (Humphrey) and Robert Hutchinson. She grew up in Haskell, and later moved to Arlington where she lived and raised her family; before returning to this area in 1994. Eunice enjoyed making pottery, dancing, hunting, and fishing.

She is survived by her husband, Norval Joe Larned of Haskell; three sons, Bart Cox of Granbury, Randy Cox of Arlington, and Mike Cox of Sweetwater; step son, Kendal Larned; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Hutchinson, and Jerry Hutchinson; sisters, Christine Meers, and Jean Curd Booth; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice (Humphrey) Hutchinson; father, Robert Hutchinson; first husband, Jimmy Cox; son, James Russell Cox; two grandsons, Justin Cox, and Conner Mac Long; brother, Bobby Hutchinson; and step daughter, Cathy Larned.
