Evelyn (Peiser) Johanna Moeller

Evelyn Johanna Peiser Moeller, 90, of Haskell, TX passed away on September 2, 2014.

Services will be held at 2pm. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David White officiating. Arrangements by Smith Family Funeral Home in Haskell, TX. Visitation is planned for Thursday evening, September 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home located at 304 N. 2nd Street.

Evelyn was born on February 15, 1924, in Irby, TX to Albert and Annie Peiser. She attended school in Irby. She was a homemaker, worked at Haskell Memorial Hospital in the Dietary department and at the Senior Citizen Center. She worked side by side with her husband with their farming career. She was a distributor of Avon during her homemaking years. As a strong and proud advocate, she earned her 70 year pin in June 2014 with Sons of Herman of Haskell, TX. Evelyn also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was the absolute glue to this family.

On January 12, 1949, she married Frank Moeller in Bomarton, TX. They resided in Haskell, TX for 55 years together until Frank passed away. Together they had 4 children, Janice Moeller Payne of Haskell, Allen Moeller of Haskell, Judith Moeller Hanson, and Sheila Moeller Hibbitts both of Amarillo, TX.


Survivors include her children, Janice, Allen and wife Rhonda, Judith, Sheila and husband Ricky. Grandkids Jana and Milan Matic, Claudia and Danny Mattox, Johanna Payne, Kelli and David Dixon, Mitchel and Libby Payne, Casey and Melissa Moeller, Jared Hibbitts, Jessica and Blair Berg, Aaron Hibbitts. Great Grandkids Kaylee Matic, Logan Matic, Abbi Dixon, Colton Dixon, Ely Mattox and baby girl Moeller on the way. Sisters in law Margaret Moeller, Helen Moeller Ray and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son in law Andy Hanson, brothers: Alfon Peiser, Ernest Peiser, Willie Peiser, one sister Francis Peiser Fischer. As well as multiple sisters and brothers in law.

Pallbearers are the Grandsons and Great Grandsons.

The family suggest in lieu of flowers, please make donation to Trinity Lutheran Church of Haskell, TX, which she was a life member.
