Felipe C. Navarro

Felipe Navarro, 91, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the First Baptist Church, 211 N Minter Ave., in Throckmorton, Texas, with Pastor Thomas Fogelman and Rev. Wade Overton officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton. A rosary is planned at 7:00pm at the funeral home, 107 N Austin, Throckmorton, Texas.

Felipe Navarro was born on May 26, 1934 in Valley Junction City, Texas. He married Brenda Escalon on December 19, 1957 in Franklin, Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Brenda and his son's Philip Jr, Albert, Ralph and Franky. 

Felipe is survived by his daughter Ester Holcomb and her Husband Robert Holcomb of Buffalo Gap, Tx. His son Johnny of Throckmorton Tx. Grandchildren Brandi Canfield of Abilene Tx, Justin Wilkes of Herrington Kansas, William Lafayette of Oakland California. Rebecca Navarro, J Navarro and Devon Navarro. Great Grandchildren include Caleb Canfield and his girlfriend Mikalyn Gregg of Abilene TX, Xander Canfield of Abilene Tx. And Great Great Grandchildren Alec Pruitt and Daizy Gregg.

He is also survived by, 1 sister Connie Escalon, and 4 brothers Tony Navarro, Joe Navarro, Lee Navarro and Felix Navarro.
