Felix Cassidy, longtime resident of Haskell, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Haskell Memorial Hospital in Haskell, Texas at the age of 54. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015, at the St. George Catholic Church in Haskell, Texas, with Father Angelo Consemino officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Willow Cemetery in Haskell under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Rosary is planned for Thursday evening, March 19, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at funeral home located at 304 North Second Street.
Felix was born November 14, 1960, in Big Springs, Texas to Damasio Anguiano and Olivia (Casares) Ruiz. He enjoyed yard work, loved farming and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Damasio Anguiano and Olivia Casarez Ruiz and one sister, Naomi Ruiz.
Felix is survived by his wife Mary (Elva) Villarreal of Haskell, Texas; five daughters, Sidney Cassidy of Haskell, Texas, Shannon Villarreal of Stamford, Texas, Latricia Mendoza of Arlington, Texas, Mary Esther McKoy of Denton, Texas, and April Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Leonardo Villarreal of Ft. Worth, Texas and Eric Sanchez of Arlington, Texas; four brothers, David, Michael, Joe and Noel; five sisters, Lupe, Mary, Tammy, Diana, Janie and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
