Flora Pace, 92, a longtime resident of Haskell, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, at the Willow Cemetery, S 7th Street, in Haskell, Friday, December 19, 2025, with Rev. Dusty Garison officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Flora Sego Pace was the fourth daughter of Ethel (Bledsoe) and Hubert Sego, born July 11, 1933 in Haskell County. She graduated from Haskell High School in 1950 and married Riley J. Pace (Bud) October 14, 1950. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Haskell.
Flora was very talented seamstress and artist. She had a successful catering for weddings and anniversaries, company banquets, all over Texas. Every Christmas she invited both sides of the family, as many as 25 people would be in attendance. Her beloved Christmas Village is now displayed in Texas Star Museum.
Flora is survived by her grandson, Randall Pace, granddaughters, Emily Wilson (Trajan) and Misti Isbell (Jason); great grand children; Krislyn, Emma, Lilly, K’Lee, Wyatt, Presley, Rilynn, Aubrey, Logan, and Carley; sisters, Joyce Davis of Lubbock, Frankie Alvis (James) of Haskell.
Flora is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, son, Jim Pace, and grandson, Riley Pace; and sister Mary Schonerstedt.
