Frances Lizzie Weise

Frances Lizzie Weise passed away, November 3, 2020 at Haskell Healthcare Center. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Rev. Josh Fitchett officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.

Frances was born in Haskell on July 6, 1922. She married Leonard Weise on December 1, 1945, and lived in the community all of her life. She was a housewife for 40 years and later worked at Rice Springs Care Home. She was a founding member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Weise of 66 years; parents, Will and Mary Zelisko; 3 sisters, Lillie Lehnert, Ella Howard, and Dora Kretschmer; and 1 brother, Albert Zelisko.

She is survived by her 3 children, Susan Anderson and husband Donny, Randall Weise, Tim Weise and wife Donna; grandchildren, Matt Anderson, Cody Weise, Julie Solano; and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Frances' name to the Experienced Senior Citizens Center: 1404 S. 1st Street, Haskell, TX 79521, who served Frances for many years.
