Francisco "Franky" Navarro

Francisco "Franky" Navarro, 57, a longtime resident of Throckmorton, TX, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, Throckmorton with Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow services at Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton. A Rosary will be held at 7:00p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton, TX.

Francisco was born April 24, 1961 in Throckmorton, TX, to Brenda (Escalon) and Felipe C. Navarro. He enjoyed watching movies and playing video games with his family. Francisco loved to sing and play music.

He is survived by his son, Richard Talley and wife Tori of Cleburne; daughter, Charity Harrel and husband James of Tuscola; father, Felipe C. Navarro of Throckmorton; brother, Johnny Navarro of Throckmorton; sister, Ester Holcomb of Buffalo Gap; 6 grandchildren, Marshall, Maliki, and Merrick Talley, Cheyenne, Bobby, and Levi Harrel; niece, Brandi Canfield; 3 nephews, William LaFayette, Caleb and Xander Canfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Brenda (Escalon) Navarro; and 3 brothers, Rafael, Phillip, and Albert Navarro.
