Francisco (Frank) G. Masias Jr., 66, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 in Abilene, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Church of Christ in Haskell, Texas with burial to follow at Willow Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes. Visitation is planned for Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Frank Masias Jr. was born February 16, 1946 in Rhineland, Texas to Francisco Masias Sr. and Eva (Gonzales) Masias. He married the late Brenda Masias June 12, 1976 in Munday, Texas. Frank was a resident of Haskell since 1983.
He is survived by 4 daughters, Diana Gonzalez of Austin, Michelle Reyna of Rochester, Abigail Masias of Haskell, and Sandra Castro of Austin; 5 sons, Frank Masias of Austin, Johnny Masias of Austin, Frankie Masias of Haskell, Tim Masias of Haskell, and D.J. Masias of Haskell; 20 grandchildren, Jared Masias, Frankie Masias, Whitney Masias, Gabby Masias, Dafne Masias, Oriana Masias, Aubri Masias, Jason Reyna, Jr., Teagan Reyna, Jonathan Lozano, Tiffany Masias, Zack Masias, Eric Andrade, Denise Andrade, Cristopher Machuca, Jonathan Masias, Jessica Masias, Michael Masias, Sabrina Masias, and Johnny Ray Masias; 3 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Dennis Masias of Hawley, Texas and Andy Masias of Munday, Texas.
He is preceded in death his parents, one brother, two sisters, and his wife of 33 years.
