Fred Cash

Fred Cash, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, May 29, 2020 at Benjamin Cemetery with Mr. Dennis Duke officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Fred was born July 2, 1950 in Crowell, TX, to Edith (Rider) and James Cash. He was a long time Knox Co. resident. Fred married LaNay Cash on May 16, 1970 in Gilliland and they enjoyed a long happy marriage. He was a member of the Church of Christ and he loved farming.

He is survived by his wife, LaNay Cash of Benjamin; father, James Cash of Crowell; son, Tim Cash of Benjamin; daughter, Kimberly Miller of Rule; three granddaughters, Christine Miller of Crowell, Teresa Miller of Benjamin, and McKenzie Gray of Rule; three great-grandsons, Evan Pullido, Allistar Pullido, and Avren Pullido all of Benjamin; great-granddaughter, Kennadi Decker of Crowell; brother, Kerry Cash of Crowell; sister, Trenna Carlson of Truscott; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Edith Cash; and sister, Brenda Cash.
