Gary Don Davidson of Haskell, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his home. Mr. Davidson was 64. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September, 13, 2014 at Faith Chapel Church in Rochester with Rev. Randy Hollingsworth officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes.
One of three boys, Gary Don was born May 1, 1950, in Portales, New Mexico to Velma Grace (Cornett) and Robert Lynn Davidson. Gary Don loved his family very much and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He loved to golf and favored the outdoors. Gary Don enjoyed gunsmithing and was a crackshot. In his quite time, Gary Don like to read.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Velma and Robert Davidson; and a brother, Steven Keith Davidson.
He is survived by his brother, Bob Davidson of Fairbanks, Alaska; and nephew, Eddy Davidson of North Pole, Alaska; and several aunts, uncles and cousins in the surrounding area.
