Georgia Faye Bingham, 100, of Electra, TX passed away July 3, 2020, at Hospice of Wichita Falls, TX. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Willow Cemetery, Haskell with Grandson & Pastor Elder Dale Turner, Jr., officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell.
Georgia Faye Bryan was born September 16, 1919, to Samuel Eli & Laura Celester Bryan. She married Thomas Benson Bingham on February 10, 1935, & they had a long wonderful marriage and four children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Bingham 01-25-03; 2 sons, Samuel Thomas Bingham 06-26-70 & Cecil Edmond Bingham (02/24/14); 1 son-in-law, Dale Turner, Sr. 09-08-12; & 1 great grandson, Zachary Lane New 04-22-13.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Janice Larue Turner of Wichita Falls, TX & Barbara Sue Huffstutler married to Robert Huffstutler of Electra, TX.
Georgia better known as "Granny" or "Georgie" is also survived by a host of grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandkids, great-great-great grandkids, nieces, nephews, & a lot of friends who all loved her very much.
Granny loved her family and always had a big smile and hug for you. If you sat very close you would constantly get patted on & if a baby was within reaching distance she would grit those teeth & want to squeeze it. Granny was Granny & everybody who knew her loved her.
She was a member of the Rule Primitive Baptist Church in Rule, TX & loved her church life even though she was not able to attend, her heart & prayers were always with them.
