Heather Davis, 48, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, at the Woodson Townhall, 221 US-183 Hwy, Sunday, July 30, 2023, in Woodson, TX.
Heather was born July 18, 1975, in Rochester, Michigan to Leica (Deaton) Campbell and Ralph Ryals. Anyone who knew Heather knew there wasn't a single antique store safe from her. She always found treasures and brought them home with her. Heather was a beautiful person with a gypsy soul. She brought light, laughter and love to everyone lucky enough to know her.
She had a huge obsession about her marbles. She collected them from everywhere and always knew where they were. She may have lost a few things, but never her marbles. She took them with her everywhere. You would often find Heather looking for rocks as well. She found comfort in the small things in life and made them apart of her world. So next time you see a rock or marble that's Heather letting you know she is near.
Heather had finally found her home and was exited about her new adventure. She had a passion for cleaning and caring for people's needs. Her smile was bright and her eyes sparkled with the news of coming back to Throckmorton, TX and her new job. Many people have been touched by Heather at one point in her life and she was loved by all.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Leica Deaton Campbell and Larry Campbell of Azle, Tx; father and step-mother, Ralph and Kathy Ryals of Terrell, TX; children, Jerry W. Shields and wife Adrianna Shields of Ralls, TX, Hayden R. Shields of Graham, TX, Grady B. Shields of Texarkana, TX, Kathleen C. Shields of Newcastle, TX, and Darby J.
