Henrietta Lott Strauss, 92, passed away January 3, 2016 at Haskell Memorial Hospital in Haskell, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes with Pastor David Johnson officiating.
Henrietta was born October 11, 1923, in Trinidad, Colorado to William Schoenerstedt and Anna Marie (Claas) Schoenerstedt. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Haskell, Texas. Henrietta enjoyed painting and gardening and was really passionate about her art.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Schoenerstedt and Anna Marie (Claas) Schoenerstedt; three brothers, Fred Schoenerstedt, Martin Ramm and Paul Scott; one sister, Mary Ann Weber.
Henrietta is survived by her two sons, Charles Lott of Brookeland, Texas and Paul Lott and wife Kitty of San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Gail Logan and husband Don of Rule, Texas; two granddaughters, Brandy Lott of Medford, Oregon and Tiffany Richmond and husband of Orange, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Damien Riggs, Blane Richmond and Kelsey Riggs all from Orange, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
