Howard Paul Beck

Howard Paul Beck, 80, a longtime resident of Throckmorton, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Throckmorton Cemetery with Melissa Hudson officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton.

Howard was born March 29, 1944 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Willie Mae (Turner) and Orville Lee Beck.  He married Pamela Gray in 1968 in Compton, California. He always had to be working, tinkering on cars and anything else that he could find.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Beck of Throckmorton; son, James Beck and wife Kristi of Graham, Texas; 2 daughters, Joyce Beck of Throckmorton, Texas, April Bigham and husband Travis of Chico, Texas; brother, Robert Beck of Throckmorton, Texas; 2 sisters, Barbara Beck of Midlothian, Texas, Jody Beck of Throckmorton, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Dusten, Ryan, Dillon, Skyler, Landon; 4 great grandchildren, Austin, Aiden, Braysen, and Amaya.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Wille Beck; sister, Linda Pauley; and brother, Michael Beck.
