Ila Mae Garrison

Ila Garrison, 90, a longtime resident of Corona, CA, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Gilliland Cemetery, Gilliland with Rev. Charlie Garrison officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Ila was born July 31, 1926 in Gilliland, to Lillian (Skrampstead) and Olie Ilseng. She married Wesley Garrison in 1942. She was originally from Gilliland, and later resided in Knox City, Arlington and most recently in Corona, CA. One of the many things Ila enjoyed was sewing.

She is survived by her son, Gary Garrison and wife Beth of Corona, CA; daughter-in-law, Jayne Garrison; two grandsons, Cory Garrison, Charlie Garrison; two granddaughters, Alexandra Garrison, Heather Richey; and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillian and Olie Ilseng; husband, Wesley Garrison; son, Olie Garrison; sister, Odessa Baird.
